Meet the Kennedys

Sheryl's husband, Mike is a 4th grade teacher. He began a career as a grocery buyer for a local, family-owned grocery store.  When Sheryl and Mike adopted their 5 year-old daughter, Karissa in 2001, Mike took a year of family leave to attend kindergarten with her.  It was then that he realized his place was in the classroom.  He returned to college and achieved his teaching, then Master's Degree in education.  He has taught locally for nine years.

Sheryl is one of the brightest, most principled, passionate, and dedicated human beings I have ever known. She knows more about government in her little finger than most of us will ever know our whole lives...
